![]() The office of International Business Programs supports international business degree programs, study abroad and exchange opportunities and coordinates special programs for the College of Business. International experiences have a profound impact on our students. It’s a tremendous opportunity to not only learn about foreign business, but also to experience a new culture. And, the course credits taken in these approved programs apply to your degree. Travel grants are available to help offset expenses for study abroad. Last year over $200,000 was awarded for business travel grants. International Business Programs also sponsors numerous specialized programs. One such program, the Liu’s Family Foundation U. S. – China Business Education Initiative, was founded in 1998 following a $1 million dollar donation from Hong Kong businessman Richard Liu. Liu continued his support of this program last year with a record $2 million gift. Key components of the program include supporting student and faculty exchanges, research collaboration and establishing joint programs between the College of Business and top universities in China and with the Shanghai Personnel Bureau. |
