Global Business Club

The Global Business Club is a student association that provides a forum for learning and sharing about international business. Their slogan is "Culture: Live it. Learn it. Love it." Meetings alternate between presentations by executives responsible for international activities, and country spotlights presented by students returning from study abroad or who are from a foreign country.

Club members learn information about careers and countries, but more importantly they meet role models and make friends with colleagues who have overcome obstacles to study and work internationally. They open their minds, share information and build their confidence.

In addition to regular club meeting, the Global Business Club also coordinates the university's "buddy" program that matches incoming international students with local UTSA students. About 50 students have been paired through the program this year.

The Global Business Club meets from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Executive Conference Room (4.02.10) of the Business Building.
