Program Overview:
HKPU offers a wide selection of courses for undergraduate business majors. Students can attend summer, fall, or spring semesters. The university is a complete university, with full-time student population of 11,500 and 5,000 part-time students. Courses are conducted in English. Academic Program:
HKPU has 26 departments. COB students will be part of the Faculty of Business and Information Systems, which includes departments in Accounting & Finance, Management & Marketing, Hotel & Tourism Management, and Logistics. Academic Credit:
There is an extensive list of classes available for transfer credit. Other classes may also be eligible to transfer. The Office of International Business Programs will be happy to work with you and the COB departments to determine eligibility. Normal course load is 4 - 6 subjects for 12 - 18 credits.

Location:
Hong Kong is an international, metropolitan, and prosperous city.

It is a mountainous island populated by 7 million people and well known for its mild climate, shopping, sightseeing, and mixture of Eastern and Western cultures.

Housing:

Financial Aid and Resources:
All students can apply for financial aid because they will pay tuition and fees at UTSA. Check with the UTSA Financial Aid Office. The COB Office of International Business Programs and the UTSA Office of International Programs have scholarships available. Application procedure:

  1. Download the application documents at the top of the webpage in the Program Profile chart. A completed HKPU application consists of: HKPU application form, Hong Kong visa application, a resume, an original transcript, a copy of your passport.

    Along with the HKPU application, you must complete the Office of International programs Study Abroad application. You can download it from: http://www.utsa.edu/intprograms/studyabroad.cfm

  2. Give the completed forms to the Office of International Business Programs. We’ll forward the documents to the UTSA Office of International Programs and mail the documents to HKPU.

  3. Once you've been accepted, notify your financial aid officer to review your financial aid packet. If you would like, complete a COB Study Abroad application http://programs.business.utsa.edu/international/ and an Office of International Programs Study Abroad Scholarship Application http://www.utsa.edu/intprograms/SAscholfinaid.cfm

  4. All UTSA students accepted into Study Abroad programs are required to register with the UTSA Office of International Programs (MB 1.210). A $150 Registration Fee will be assessed to each outgoing student, and must be paid prior to departure. Finally, all students must attend a pre-departure orientation offered by the Office of International Programs prior to participation.
