Country information:
Location Information:
IPAG Business School is located in France and has two prestigious centres. Both are situated in the heart of the city: Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris and in close proximity to the Acropolis Congress Centre in Nice on the French Riviera. The classes conducted in English are in Nice.
Housing:
IPAG will help students find convenient housing within the city. Housing requires a one or two month deposit. About a month before their studies begin, IPAG sends foreign students a list with names and addresses of owners of furnished accommodation and reliable agencies. Each student then has to contact the owners or agencies. It is advisable to organize your accommodation before courses begin. Please read the accommodations information provided by IPAG in their General Information packet. It details information regarding leases, supplemental charges, fixture inventories, utilities, insurance, and accommodations allowance provided by the French government for students.
University Information:
www.ipag.edu
IPAG was founded in 1965 by economist Jacques Rueff. It awards a 4 year state approved Diploma in business and management. Students carry out annual industrial experiences, which apply theory to practice both in France and abroad. There are 1600 full-time students, 250 exchange students, 400 faculty members, 20 visiting faculty members and 75 university partnerships in 21 different countries.
Academic Program:
UTSA students will attend the IPAG program either in Nice in Fall and/or Spring semesters. Summer sessions are offered in both Paris and Nice.
http://www.ipag.edu/socrates.html
The assessment system operates according to the principles of the European Credit
Transfer System (ECTS) that awards 60 credits for each academic year. Therefore,
be aware that a 6-credit class at IPAG is equal to a 3-credit class at UTSA. Credit
will transfer from IPAG, but please get approval with your COB advisor beforehand.
